IBC Members Meet with the Regional ManagerOf DAMAC Real Estate Investment Company & the Accompanying Delegation

A meeting was held on Wednesday 19/2/2014 in IBC Headquarters between IBC members and the Regional Manager of DAMAC Real Estate Investment Company Mr. Ahmed Tayeb and the accompanying delegation.

At the beginning of the meeting IBC Vice Chairman Mr. Ahmed Shabender welcomed the guests and presented a summary on IBC activities and the achievements realized by IBC on the economic, cultural and humanitarian levels.  He also tackled issues relating to the main investment projects in Iraq especially in the Tourism Sector.

On his part, Mr. Ahmed Tayeb expressed the interest of DAMAC Company to present IBC members with special offers to invest in their projects existing in the United Arab Emirates which were implemented in association with the giant Investment Company Paramount.

The projects include a number of Towers for high standard fully furnished apartments enjoying exceptional services and luxury, with competitive prices and installments method of payment.

He further expressed the Company’s desire to enter the Iraqi markets especially in Kurdistan Region and Basra Province, stressing the Company’s readiness to cooperate with the companies owned by IBC members to implement future projects in Iraq.

On IBC side, the Vice Chariman and Secretary General Mr. Saad Naji expressed IBC interest to find a cooperation mechanism with DAMAC Real Estate Investment Company, being a major and significant Company in this field.

During the meeting, the members discussed the project specifications and the payment mechanisms proposed by DAMAC Company.

The meeting was attended by IBC Vice Chairman and President of the Cultural Committee Mr. Turkey Qaisi, IBC Board member and President of the Economic Committee Dr. Fakhri Rishan, Board member and President of the External Relational Committee Mr. Usama Quraishi, and IBC members; Mr. Sadiq Kubaisi, Mr. Ahmed Saedi and IBC CEO, and on DAMAC’s side, the meeting was attended by Mr. Zaid Abdul Khaliq and Miss Suha Ubaidi.
