Among the activities of IBC Cultural Program (Ibdaa) and under Patronage of  Zain Telecommunication Company, IBC hosted on Saturday February 4th, 2017 on IBC’s Zain Hall the opening ceremony of the Iraqi artist Nabil Ali’s exhibition titled “Speech and Music to the Female”.

The ceremony was attended by IBC Chairman Dr. Majid Saedi, IBC Chairman Deputy and Secretary General Mr. Saad Naji, Chairman Deputy Mr. Nazar Awchi, IBC Board member Mr. Turkey Al-Qaissi and IBC members; Mr. Muhammad Al-Baghdadi, Mr. Atheer Al-Qadhi, in addition to IBC CEO, staff and a crowd of the Iraqi community in Jordan, artists, journalists and Satellite TV Channels.

During the opening ceremony, IBC Chairman and members toured the exhibition with artist Nabil Ali to view the displayed paintings which were inspired by women and society.

The artist was inspired by his daily life.. a woman from his point of view is a celebration of beautiful colors and enchanting melodies.. without women life would look like a ghost clothed in gray with domination of a dreary silence.

According to the artist, there is always a relationship between women and musical instruments in more than one aspect; a woman is always the instrument and her voice is the tone.. every instrument has its own magic, beauty and melodies.. as for women; every woman has her own special beauty and charm.

The artist used acrylic and gesso on canvas and collage and other various materials to execute his paintings.

His successful choice of sizes varied to reflect a specific story within every painting since the size of a painting is very important to the idea.

The paintings of artist Nabil Ali belong to the expressionist school, but he also borrowed some ideas from the surrealist school.
