Iraqi Business council Celebrates Mother’s Day on Thursday March 21st 2019
Among the activities of IBC Cultural Program (Ibdaa), IBC held on Thursday March 21t 2019 at the Grand Millennium Amman a celebration and breakfast for IBC ladies members and ladies of the Iraqi community in Jordan on the occasion of Mother’s Day.
The celebration included a fashion show of the international Iraqi designer Hana Sadiq who launched her collection for 2019 that was characterized by bright summer colors mixed with Arabic letters and poetry.
The models wore 24 exquisite pieces designed by Hana Sadiq on the tunes of (Sentor) instrument played by musician Azhar Kubba.
The ceremony also included distribution of awards presented by a number of companies who sponsored the gala; Zain Telecommunications, Imseeh Jewelry, Leaders Tours & Travel, Guinot Centre, Lujain Boutique & Saloon and Qiwami Fitness Centre.
The ceremony was attended by IBC Board member Mrs. Wasan Al-Khafaji and a number of IBC members; Mrs. Tamara Daghistani, Mrs. Maha Al-Nuaimi, members of the Youth Committee, in addition to families of IBC members and ladies of the Iraqi Community in Jordan, mainstream media, satellite TV channels, IBC CEO and staff.
The idea of establishing the Iraqi Business Council is based on the common desire generated by a number of elites. Those who are Iraqi investors and businessmen on the territory of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan unanimous in the importance of creating economic reference for them, as well as for those who wish to join them in order to maximize Iraq’s investment in Jordan, as well as to contribute actively to Iraq’s construction and reconstruction.
The idea of establishing the Iraqi Business Council was well-founded and blessed by the Government of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. Accordingly, the approval of the competent Jordanian authorities was commended for launching the Iraqi Business Council in Jordan.
