During the meeting, Dr. Saad Naji also affirmed the need to encourage tourism to Tunisia and facilitate all procedures, given Tunisia’s tourism potentials and the civilized and cultural landmark it enjoys.

For his part, the Tunisian Ambassador spoke about the depth of brotherly relations existing between Iraq and Tunisia, which have long been distinguished historic relations, affirming that he’d pass his recommendations to the Tunisian government on the need to lift the entry visa restrictions to travel to Tunisia for Iraqis, just like Jordanians, stressing the significant role of the private sector in Iraq and Tunisia as to strengthening cooperation between the two countries.  In order to enhance future cooperation, H.E the Ambassador proposed organizing a trade mission from IBC members to visit Tunisia and signing a “twining agreement” with the Tunisian – African Business Council.
