Opening of the Personal Exhibition of Iraqi Artist Dr. Omar Al-Mutalibi Entitled “A Touch of Color” At The Iraqi Business council Hall

Among the activities of IBC Cultural Program (Ibdaa), the personal exhibition of the Iraqi artist Dr. Omar Al-Mutalibi was opened on Saturday April 6th, 2019 on IBC Hall / 1st floor titled “A Touch of Color”.

During the opening ceremony, and during his tour with IBC Deputy Chairman and Secretary General Mr. Saad Naji, IBC Board member Mr. Turkey Al-Qaisi and IBC member Mrs. Tamara Daghistani, the artist reviewed the exhibited paintings that reflected nature, as the artist wanted the exhibition to commemorate the departure of the renowned Iraqi painter Mr. Faiq Hassan, who was an important pillar in shaping the art of painting in Iraq and the Arab world to form a significant world presence.

The exhibition included (27) works depicting the water wheels, marshes, mountains, a number of Iraqi cities and nature at different seasons, using the knife in his paintings. The exhibition is considered an academic attempt to create an academic show in the atmosphere of contemporary Arab art. The ceremony was attended by a number of IBC Cultural Committee members, a crowd of academics, journalists, in addition to satellite TV channels, IBC CEO and staff.

 

The idea of establishing the Iraqi Business Council is based on the common desire generated by a number of elites. Those who are Iraqi investors and businessmen on the territory of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan unanimous in the importance of creating economic reference for them, as well as for those who wish to join them in order to maximize Iraq’s investment in Jordan, as well as to contribute actively to Iraq’s construction and reconstruction.

The idea of establishing the Iraqi Business Council was well-founded and blessed by the Government of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. Accordingly, the approval of the competent Jordanian authorities was commended for launching the Iraqi Business Council in Jordan.
