The Iraqi Business Council holds the annual Ramadan Iftar party and celebrates the 10th anniversary
The Iraqi Business Council held the annual Ramadan Iftar party in honor of the council members and their families and the Iraqi community in Jordan and celebrated the 10th anniversary of the establishment of the Iraqi Business Council in Jordan on Wednesday 6/15/2016 at the Grand Millennium Hotel – Amman.
The ceremony included a welcoming speech by Dr. Majid Al-Saadi, President of the Iraqi Business Council, in which he congratulated the guests for the holy month and wished them and the Iraqi people to prevail in security and safety and for stability to return to Iraq to return to its historical position that it has occupied over the years.
He also congratulated the members of the Council on the occasion of the passage of 10 years since the establishment of the Iraqi Business Council in Jordan, reviewing the most prominent achievements it has made during its career in all economic, cultural, humanitarian and social fields, and the programs and projects it established with international organizations and civil society organizations that serve the community service, and thanked His Majesty the King Abdullah II, the Almighty, the first investment sponsor who instructed to overcome obstacles to investment in general and residency in particular, also thanked the Minister of Interior, Mr. Salama Hammad, who agreed during his meeting with the President and members of the Administrative Board of the Iraqi Business Council to activate the granting of multiple entry visas for a period of six months in addition to other facilities Concerning the granting and renewal of residency.
During the ceremony, a general manager and the work team of the Iraqi Business Council were honored.
The Ramadan Iftar ceremony was attended by the Iraqi Consul Dr. Abdul Sattar Al-Janabi and a number of members of the diplomatic staff of the Iraqi Embassy in Jordan.
The ceremony was also attended by the CEO of Zain Telecom, Mr. Ahmad Al-Hananda, and on the side of the Council attended the President of the Iraqi Business Council, his wife, the Vice President, the Secretary and a number of members of the administrative and public body and their families, and a large crowd of the Iraqi community of businessmen, academics, and media professionals, and the staff of Zain Telecom, the official sponsor of the Iftar party The Iftar party included the comedy play (Sarah and the Lord Shepherd), which the attendees enjoyed.
